How do we see it?
Lying on a sun lounger, watching the sunset, listening to the sound of the sea and sipping home-made wine. This is what an ideal holiday looks like. The Empire Apartment adds luxurious amenities, a unique view of the sea and the small islands of the Pelješac Peninsula from three terraces and the opportunity to sample Dalmatian specialties.
The Empire Apartment is located in the small village of Komarna in South Dalmatia, only 70 km from Dubrovnik, the real pearl of the Adriatic Sea. Komarna is the ideal place for charming trips by car or by boat. Dubrovnik, beautiful places on the Pelješac Peninsula, Orebić, Korčula and the most beautiful European delta of the Neretva river. That is just a small part of what this place can offer you. Lovers of great food and drink will be literally in the seventh heaven here. Beside renowned Dalmatian cuisine based on fresh fish, you can taste the world’s best oysters, mussels or extraordinary specialties from the valley of the Neretva river – for example „brodetto“ made from frogs and „jegulja“. Nearby, you can also visit some best wineries and taste a wide range of fine wines. A photo safari in the Neretva valley and the autumn harvest of tangerines or figs are similarly attractive. You and your children can enjoy long sandy beaches near the Blace village and watch kiteboarders. All of that less then 20 minutes by car from the Komarna. The proximity of the Bosnian resort of Neum (10 km) is a great advantage of staying in the Komarna as you can buy food and fuel at significantly lower prices than in Croatia.
The Empire Apartment was completely renovated before the 2018 season and its terraces filled with Mediterranean plants and herbs. It has a new kitchen, all furniture, a sofa, healthy mattresses and a washing machine. The LCD 4K SMART TV with satellite was installed in the living room. There are new feng Shui linghts and a wooden bar with a seating in the dining room. The terrace is equipped with an electric grill and newly lit by LED lights. The apartment i salso equipped with four quality air conditioning units. This spacious penthouse is ideal for groups of friends, it can accommodate up to nine guests. Nearby is a grocery store. Directly above the beach below the house is a newly opened restaurant with lounge bar “The Bridge”. You can also order Dalmatian specialties from a local family on a private terrace located less than 100 metres from the house and experience the charm of a home-like atmosphere. Or you can order meals to be delivered to the terrace of your apartment.

Conditions for entering Croatia with a dog
The dog must be microchipped, have a passport and a valid rabies vaccination.
Only those breeds of bull terriers that are recognized by the FCI (International Kennel Club) and the owner has a pedigree from the dog are allowed to enter the country. Crossbreeds of bull terriers are not allowed to enter Croatia. If a dog is a bull terrier cross, it is presumed to be a bull terrier cross.

Super letovisko pre rodiny s malými deťmi, kľudné miesto s veľmi dobrým vstupom do mora. Všetko pod jednou rukou - pláž na jednej strane a na druhej strane môžete nakupovať v malom miestnom obchodíku. Hneď pri pláži reštaurácia, ktorú sme využili v deň nášho odchodu. Dve detské ihriská s hojdačkami potešili najmenších. Kto očakáva spoločenské a športové vyžitie musí hľadať niečo iné. Ale pre milovníkov pokľudného režimu, určite odporúčam.

Všetko prebehlo v pohode a ochotne.

Ubytovanie pre našu zostavu ideálne, veľká terasa s výhľadom na more na spoločné raňajky a večere bola skvelá, kuchyňa na prípravu jedál aj s dostatočným vybavením, možno by bolo fajn pridať ešte aspoň dva stredné hrnce. Všetko čisté, fotodokumentácia plne zodpovedá skutočnosti. Ďakujeme za skvelé miesto na relax s malými deťmi.

Pláž v době, kdy jsme byli, tedy koncem června, dostatečná. Při odjezdu už zcela zaplněná. Jen jeden den byla tráva, jinak voda velmi čistá. Obchůdek malý, ale měli vše, nikam jsme nemuseli jezdit, paní prodavačka velmi vstřícná, komunikativní, tzv. jsme vždy "pokecali". Dostali jsme při odjezdu dárek. Restauraci jsme využili dvakrát, ta pod domem je spíše bufetová, ale velmi levná, a jídlo dobré, hlavně pizza, ta byla exkluzivní. Štorija dobrá, mořské plody OK. Neumíme si ale představit, že se v sezóně zvětší počet návštěvníků, kapacita infrastruktury je nedostatečná.

Apartmán presne taký, ako na fotografiách. Vybavený, krásne zariadený, s nádherným výhľadom. Na pláž sme väčšinou chodili do kleku ale najmä na Moračnu, nakoľko netrebalo platiť parkovné, voda bola nádherná a prístupná aj malým deťom, bufet veľmi chutný.

Ústretový, spokojní sme odchádzali. Pani ktorá nás ubytovala veľmi milá, dokonca nám aj zmenila peniaze, keďže sme nemali kuny a bola nedeľa. Chválim.

Všetko bolo tak, ako na obrázkoch, možno ešte lepšie. Ľudia super, usmiati, možno trošku doriešiť parkovanie pri objekte.

Ráda bych vám poděkovala za vstřícnost, ochotu a přátelský přístup i krásný apartmán, který jste vytvořil/i v Komárně (milé fotky na zdech, levandule, dobré nože v kuchyni :) atd.) Velmi se nám tam líbilo, mužům i stavba mostu, my ženy jsme se dívaly raději na druhou stranu. Dovča mimo sezónu byla letos fakt skvělá volba.

Pláž před domem je bohužel velice malá a nezajímavá. Lepší je pláž směr Klek, na které se však také nenachází moc místa a bar na ní je předražený. Letovisku chce dát asi více času na to, aby se na své hosty lépe připravilo - např. vyklidit zadní pláž od kamenů a rozšířit ji - např. upravit svah.

Perfektní. Byli jsme dotázáni zdali je vše v pořádku. Byli jsme velice spokojeni.

V lepším a prostornějším apartmánu v Chorvatsku jsme ještě nebyli. Klimatizace funkční, chyběl pouze jeden ovladač. Jedna židle v jídelně byla již vachrlatá, na což jsme upozornili. Odpad na záchodě zapáchal - zápach se linul z kanálku v podlaze. Doplnil bych společnou chodbu pozičním /podlahovým/tlumeným světlem pro lepší orientaci v noci a při zavřených dveřích do pokojů. Jinak super.
