How far is the house from the sea and where to go to swim?
Property "Secluded holiday home Alga" is located ... m from the beach as the crow flies 10 m and to the nearest beach it is 15 m . To give you a better idea of where you can swim, we went through our database of photos and based on GPS coordinates we have calculated the distances of the property from the nearby beaches.

How do we see it?
We offer accommodation in a newly renovated building, which opened its first season in 2009, for fans of true Robinson Crusoe tourism. This is an old stone house in one of the numerous bays in the northeastern part of the island of Hvar. The house is isolated, right by the sea. Below the house is a pebble beach. In addition to the uninhabited half-demolished houses, there are only 2 other reconstructed stone houses in the bay, which, however, are not for rent. Most of the time they remain empty, except for the days when their owners come here to spend time off. You will probably be alone in the bay. The house is about a 2-hour walk from the only road on the island. The nearest resort on the island is Sućuraj, 4 nautical miles (approx. 6.5 km) away. You can get to the bay practically only with your own boat from the resort of Sućuraj (on the island, ferry connection to Drvenik) or from the resort of Drašnice on the Makarska Riviera, which is 5.5 NM (approx. 9 km) away. The transfer from Drašnice is provided by the owner of the house with his fast motor boat. Transfer to the island and a parking space for your car in Drašnice are included in the house rent. During your stay, you have at your disposal a four-meter boat with a 4-horsepower engine, for a fee of €40/day (it can only be rented to guests with captain's exams), which you can use along the coast of the island to reach, for example, Sućuraj or the shop at the campsite in Mlaska Bay. where it is also possible (for a fee of approx. 5€/day) to park your car (approx. 15 minutes of sailing). If you want to get to know the beautiful island of Hvar and visit historical and cultural monuments in the cities of Starigrad and Hvar, we recommend this option of parking directly on the island. If you don't have the captain's exams, you can rent 1-2 kayaks to get to the campsite where the shop is located. The owner can also, upon agreement, take you from the Robinson house to the Mlaska camp or another resort. You can arrange more frequent supply with the owner of the building - for an additional fee of €20 for 1 service. The owner of the building lives in Drašnice, in case of need (food import, transfer to the mainland to see a doctor) you can contact him on his mobile phone. The signal is good throughout the bay. If you don't mind somewhat spartan conditions and the feeling of being cut off from the surrounding hectic world, then you will have a great chance to experience an unforgettable romantic vacation in untouched nature and in a stylishly furnished house on the seashore. Due to the difficult accessibility of the place, this robinsonada is more suitable for a group of adults.

Conditions for entering Croatia with a dog
The dog must be microchipped, have a passport and a valid rabies vaccination.
Only those breeds of bull terriers that are recognized by the FCI (International Kennel Club) and the owner has a pedigree from the dog are allowed to enter the country. Crossbreeds of bull terriers are not allowed to enter Croatia. If a dog is a bull terrier cross, it is presumed to be a bull terrier cross.

Zátoka je překrásná, ale o klidném místě nemůže být řeč.Robinzonáda Alga nás velice zklamala. Díky našemu zaměstnání hledáme klidné místo na odpočinek s rodinou. Nevím zda je to běžná věc, ale v době našeho pobytu se v zátoce střídala jedna loď za druhou. Drzost některých lidí nezná hranic. Menší čluny vjížděly téměř k pláži, bez ohledu na děti ve vodě. Někteří pouštěli hlasitou hudbu, jiní tam nocovali, ale když dorazila dvoupatrová loď s jistě třiceti lidmi na celý den i s člunem, ve kterém zátokou vozili děti na kruhu, šli jsme do kolen. O odpadcích, co zbyly na pláži ani psát nebudu.

Majitel byl velmi milý a ochotný. Neřešil zbytečnosti a nerušil. Stoprocentní spolehlivost.

Domeček byl čistý a útulný, okolí domu ne. Vybavení domu bylo přiměřené, krásné staré kousky, ale již mají odslouženo(židle se rozložila po druhém dni, opravy drátkem nevydrží věčně).Osvětlení domečku nedostatečné. Rozdílná informace byla pro nás zásadní. Na webu je uvedeno, že je v objektu elektřina 220/230,ale elektřina tam vůbec není. Jen na led pásek u kuchyně a osvětlení terasy. Problém je v tom, že se nedají použít zásuvky, alespoň na odpuzovače komárů, kterých je tam opravdu plno.

nette Begrüßung, Begrüßungsgetränk. Das auf der Seite der Adria Datenbank in Aussicht gestellte 4PS Boot wurde uns nicht vermietet, Begründung der fehlende Bootsführerschein. Hätten wir das vorher gewußt wäre diese Unterkunft für uns nicht in Frage gekommen.

Die unmittelbare Umgebung sah aus wie eine Baustelle.Es war ein Tisch vorhanden welchen wir innen und außen nutzen mußten.Strandstühle oder eine Liege gab es nicht,ein Sonnenschutz wäre auch angenehm.Der Behälter für die Erwärmung des Duschwassers ist eine Fehlkonstruktion, ein Tag Sonnenschein reicht nicht, das Wasser auf über 20°C zu erwärmen.In der Dusche/WC ist die Wand aufgespitzt.Der Grill ist durchgerostet.Es fehlt das Interesse des Vermieters dieses Haus wirklich angenehm zu gestalten.

Ubytování v zásadě odpovídalo popisu na webových stránkách. Bohužel k vzhledem k horšímu počasí nebyla po celou dobu pobytu k dispozici teplá voda na umytí. Je třeba také počítat k velkému množství hmyzu (komáři, vosy a jiné kousavé potvory). Osvětlení terasy a vnitřku je nedostatečné. Pro případné návštěvníky doporučuji nějaké přenosná LED světla :-)

Letovisko Drašnice poskytuje základné služby ako je apartmánové ubytovanie, obchod malá pekáreň, pošta a niekoľko reštaurácií. Pláže sú udržiavané. V zátoke Divja Vila na ostrove Hvar sú tri kamenné domčeky, kamienková pláž, čisté more (odporúčame zobrať obuv do vody). Nevýhodou je, že tu veľmi skoro zapadá slnko. Okolo 15:30 hod. už bola celá pláž v tieni.

Majiteľ objektu a jeho manželka sú veľmi milí a príjemní ľudia.

Fotografie zverejnené na webe zodpovedali kvalite ubytovania aj v skutočnosti. V celom domčeku bolo čisto, útulne a príjemne. Majitelia ďalších objektov prišli iba cez víkend. Našu pohodu však prekazili každodenné návštevy malých motorových člnov a zvedavých ľudí, dokonca jednej výletnej lode s asi 30 ľuďmi, ktorá tam zakotvila na 5 hod. V zátoke sme teda neboli ani jeden celý deň sami, čo dosť narušilo celú našu dovolenku.

Destinácia bola super, úroveň služieb sme vzhľadom na charakter destinácie neočakávali, pláž bola výborná.

Ubytovanie korešpondovalo s informáciami, na nete, bol tam síce výrazný nedostatok sladkej úžitkovej vody na sprchovanie, ale o tom sme vedeli a dalo sa to zvládnuť, aj keď pri plnej obsadenosti 4 dospelými osobami to bolo len tak-tak. Jediné, čo mi trochu vadilo bolo, že na nete bola informácia o tom, že k dispozícii je motorový čln, až na mieste sme sa však dozvedeli, že je za prípatok 20 € na deň a dá sa zaplatiť len na celý pobyt.Je to dosť peňazí na to, aby to bolo uvedené aj v informáciách, aby si záujemcovia mohli dostatočne dopredu zvážiť, či tieto financie na čln chú alebo nechcú investovať. Čl by bol určite príjemným spestrením, ale práve preto, že sme o tom vopred nevedeli a čiaska bola pomerne značná, sme túto službu nevyužili!
